This very first Sunday School lesson starts the fun with this interactive lesson. In the simplest language, we take the children through the last supper, Jesus washing his disciples' feet, and Judas turning against Jesus. A printable lamb puppet asks questions that the children might be thinking, such as "Why did Jesus wash his disciples' feet? The teacher then explains how Jesus was a humble and patient teacher and taught his disciples by showing them how he wanted them to treat each other. Marshmallow the lamb puppet is used again for this lesson, asking question and making comments to help the children understand the lesson concepts. Activities to go with this lesson reinforce what the children have already learned: A song to sing during the lesson, a rhyme with actions, and a game for preschoolers.
